Are you a professional seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business By joining our Benelux organization with office in Diegem Belgium you will become part of the Systems and Solutions sales team.

As Business Development Manager you will drive our Asset Management Solutions (AMS) business in Belgium and The Netherlands identifying new leads managing projects and meeting customer needs while collaborating with global teams. EMERSONs AMS include best-in-class software and hardware platforms that enhance the performance and reliability of automation assets (pressure flow temperature level) and control valves as well as promote collaboration and workorder integration (CMMS).

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Being excited about generating new opportunities visiting our customers and providing value to their business.

  • Understanding customers and bringing back input for the team to support developing a project based approach with our consultants.

  • Aligning priorities and focus areas with the sales leadership and establishing a prioritized strategic plan.

  • Providing technical support to customers (internal and external) as the need arises and connect customers to experts as needed.

  • Developing sales initiatives participate in and attend events and conferences as an EMERSON ambassador.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation or automation business

  • Sales / business development experience in a commercial role

  • Curiosity about technology and innovations comfortable to work in a technical environment

  • Proficiency in English and Dutch

  • Availability to travel in Benelux (and occasionally in Europe)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units

  • Experience within Distributed Control Systems / Process Instrumentation / Asset Management Platforms

  • French language skills
