The School of Arts and Sciences at Wilson College invites applications for a full-time Instructor Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Physics and Mathematics. This position requires teaching introductory courses and laboratories in Physics and Algebra and may include teaching courses in Physical Chemistry Laboratory Chemistry and upper-level Mathematics depending on the qualifications of the successful applicant. These courses support general education requirements as well as major programs in Chemistry Biochemistry and pre-professional healthcare fields.
For hire at the Instructor level candidates must possess a Masters degree in Physics Mathematics or a closely related field. A doctoral degree is required for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Two years of college-level teaching experience are preferred. This position is non-tenure track.
