We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team responsible for managing foreclosure matters for the firm. This role involves using legal expertise to guide the foreclosure process on behalf of our clients while ensuring compliance and providing high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare review and approve foreclosure-related pleadings.
- Manage all aspects of foreclosure cases including contested matters.
- Represent clients in mediations depositions and hearings (telephonic and in-person).
- Conduct regular meetings and provide updates to clients.
- Review chains of title and ensure accuracy.
- Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Active member in good standing with the Michigan Bar Association.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client interaction (via client systems email and phone).
- Exceptional client service and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and timely decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking capabilities.
