Qualifications:
Heres what youll need:
- Bachelors degree from an ABET-accredited program in Electrical Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience generating Instrumentation and Controls design-related deliverables such as P&IDs I/O lists wiring diagrams control narratives etc.
- Working knowledge of PLC DCS and other controls applications
Ideally youll also have:
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience related to semiconductor fabrication facilities
- Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications
- Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software
- Working knowledge of UL 508A for industrial control panel design
- Familiarity with Siemens PLC systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward-thinking eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams including multi-disciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction

Location:
- This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Boise ID.
- The candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours nominally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some flexibility based on the ability of the site to support and employee preference.
- Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.
Physical Requirements:
- The position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. The applicant must be able to walk long distances sit and stand for extended periods bend stoop twist crawl climb ladders work on catwalks work in small spaces and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Youll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the clients expectations scope budget and schedule. Youll also provide on-site assistance during startup coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline highly interactive team will produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications and designs for control systems for a variety of processes and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of the process control instrumentation and automation.
