What You Will Do

  • Research trends and positioning that fuel a strategic campaign plan aligned with organizational objectives
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform campaign strategy and optimize performance
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align campaign activities with broader organizational goals
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics analyze results and iterate strategies as needed
  • Manage campaign budgets resources and timelines effectively
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in campaign strategy and execution
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and branding across all campaign channels

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in business communications journalism English marketing or comparable field OR coursework plus minimum 3 years of related experience

At the end of the 30 days you may begin another 900-hour employment cycle in a new position if available. Working Extra Help will in no way affect any other employment opportunities with SIUE including your position on and Civil Service register. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment.

Illinois Residency Requirement: Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System out-of-state candidates must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date for this position.

Illinois residency requires proof of a valid Illinois Drivers License or state of Illinois ID Card. Failure to produce the required documentation within 180 calendar days will result in immediate termination of employment.

Pre- Employment Screening: All external candidates who receive a job offer will be required to undergo pre-employment screening for this position. The screening process will encompass a criminal background check and where applicable other background checks such as a drug screen verification of employment and education or licensure/certification reference checks and/or checks with relevant government registries. Please note that all job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the required screening process.

Additional Information: SIUE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States and visa sponsorship for this position will not be provided. International students at SIUE on F-1 or J-1 visas are not eligible for full-time or part-time civil service positions with permanent status.
