Our Opportunity

Due to continued business growth NEPEAN Power is seeking a Modular Construction Coordinator to join our dynamic team based at our Thornton and Rutherford workshops. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to be a key part of delivering major modular construction projects across mining renewables and industrial sectors.

This hands-on role will see you coordinate production activities lead workshop teams and ensure projects are delivered safely efficiently and to NEPEANs high-quality standards.

Your Role

As the Modular Construction Coordinator you will oversee the planning resourcing and execution of modular construction projects including switchrooms and associated electrical infrastructure. Working closely with the Production and Project Management teams youll ensure seamless workflow between trades procurement and engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating construction and installation activities across carpentry electrical and mechanical teams.

• Allocating tasks monitoring progress and maintaining production schedules.

• Ensuring compliance with WHS quality and housekeeping standards.

• Reviewing and interpreting construction and assembly drawings.

• Liaising with internal teams subcontractors and clients to resolve challenges and maintain project timelines.

• Monitoring job profitability materials usage and project hours.

• Providing leadership mentoring and guidance to apprentices and trades assistants.

• Working hands-on when required to support production targets.

The Right Person

We are seeking a motivated and experienced coordinator or supervisor with a strong trade background in carpentry construction or modular assembly. You will thrive in a fast-paced project-driven environment and take pride in leading teams to deliver quality outcomes.

You will have:

• Trade qualification in Carpentry or related field.

• 3 years experience in modular or construction-based supervision or coordination.

• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office Pronto ERP Jira preferred).

• A current Driver Licence.

• Additional tickets (Forklift EWP Dogman Confined Space) highly regarded.
