Medical Manager

The Opportunity

Were seeking a Medical Manager to join our established Medical Affairs team supporting the cardiovascular portfolio. This is a fixed-term (until November 2026) opportunity reporting to the Medical Lead and working closely with the MSL and cross-functional colleagues. Youll play a key role in shaping and executing medical strategy for both an in-market product and a pre-launch asset.

The Role

• Lead and execute medical strategy for the cardiovascular portfolio.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand managers regulatory and health economics to support PBS submissions and PBAC negotiations.

• Review and approve promotional and educational materials to ensure Medicines Australia Code compliance.

• Support and contribute to educational initiatives for specialists and GPs.

• Engage with external stakeholders and KOLs on a project basis including participation in advisory boards and scientific exchange.

• Attend key industry events such as the Cardiac Society ANZ and internal commercial cycle meetings.

Your Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in Medical Affairs or adjacent pharmaceutical roles.

• Demonstrated industry experience with working knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.

• Tertiary qualifications in Biological Sciences Pharmacy Medicine or a related field.

• Experience in promotional material review and regulatory compliance.

• Proven ability to work constructively and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Ability to prioritize effectively and respond swiftly to changing demands.
