Paraway Pastoral Company is seeking a motivated Station Hand to join our team at Urawilkie Station near Coonamble in the Central Western region of NSW.
Paraway Pastoral Company owns and operates over 4.4 million hectares of cattle and sheep stations across eastern Australia. We are passionate about progressive agriculture and providing safe rewarding workplaces for our people.
About the role
As a Station Hand youll be involved in all aspects of day-to-day station life. This includes handling and caring for cattle from mustering to drafting maintaining fences water points and general infrastructure and operating vehicles bikes and machinery safely.
Youll also support the cropping program including ground preparation sowing harvesting as well pasture management and basic record keeping while working closely with a small team to get the job done.
What youll bring
- Experience with cattle operations and working dogs
- Understanding of grazing and pasture management
- Experience or want to learn about crop production
- Competence in operating farm machinery
- A current manual drivers licence
- A safety-first approach and willingness to learn
- Team spirit - reliable respectful and supportive of others
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- (First Aid AgVet Chemical and other tickets are an advantage)
