Job Summary

At Stryker were looking for a Project Manager in R&D who thrives on driving results leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality outcomes. If youre energized by collaboration innovation and making a measurable difference this is your opportunity to lead projects that matter.

You will need to live within commuting distance of our Portage MI office. This is a hybrid role with on-site work required on average 2 days a week.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and execution of project charters management plans and detailed Gantt charts
  • Define project scope with stakeholders and create structured work breakdowns to guide execution
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure costs remain within approved limits
  • Develop and maintain quality and risk management plans using industry-standard tools
  • Assign and manage project team resources defining roles and deliverables clearly
  • Build and execute stakeholder and communication management plans
  • Collaborate on procurement planning and vendor selection
  • Provide performance feedback to functional managers and support team development

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated or quality-driven environments

Travel Percentage: 10%
