The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for experienced and patient-focussed Clinical Nurse to join our team!
You also assist the CNM with the leadership and management of the ward including but limited to:
Leading and supporting the nursing team members whilst working alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team.
Problem solving fostering a positive and supportive culture and providing dedicated and specialised advice to team members.
Perform accurate and comprehensive patient assessment to address short and long-term needs.
Participate in the role of A/CNM as required.
About You
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years post graduate experience
Proven ability to assess plan coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
Preceptorship experience and a compassionate approach to mentoring students and novice nurses
Desirable
Current shift coordinator/clinical nurse experience in a surgical ward is preferable.
