Job Summary

Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Location: Elmhurst NY
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 7.5*5
Pay rate: $3172 (Weekly Gross)

Education:

Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist including military training if applicable.

Responsibilities:

Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience required.
Experience in an acute care setting is required.
Perform nuclear medicine procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines.
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed.
Monitor patient safety during procedures including radiation safety protocols.
Follow all state and federal regulations for nuclear medicine practice.
Must work rotating weekends and report as scheduled including holidays.

Certifications:

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Valid NYSDOH license as a Radiology Technologist with Injection
Valid NYSDOH license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
