Job Summary
Provides professional accounting expertise to ensure that transactions of the Companys operations are accurately recorded analyzed and reported in a timely cost-effective manner in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Essential Functions
- Properly prepare and document journal entries analyses and reports
- Prepare account reconciliations as assigned per policy
- Respond to requests for information from other departments and external auditors
- Prepare audit schedules for external audits
- Maintain data integrity
- Perform variance and metrics analyses
- Participate on cross functional project teams involved in the design development testing and implementation of automated systems reengineering of processes or implementation of new requirements.
- Must demonstrate respect for all individuals and adhere to the Companys values and business practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certification/Experience
- Required bachelors degree in accounting. (Experience in lieu of an undergraduate degree in accounting qualified candidate can possess a masters degree in accounting or have attained eligibility to sit for the CPA examination)

- Able to demonstrate and apply proficiency in the use of personal computers and their business applications including working knowledge of word processing e-mail spreadsheets and database management software (currently Microsoft Word Outlook Excel).

- Able to quickly conceptualize and assimilate data to make timely decisions and take appropriate action.
- Able to work with close attention to detail in a highly accurate manner to produce complete and timely work.

- Able to visually perceive information on a personal computer monitor or laptop screen for extended periods of time.
- Capable of operating a personal computer whether it is a desktop or laptop for extended periods of time to create compose and review documents and spreadsheets.
- Competent in operating office equipment including but not limited to telephones mobile phones photocopiers scanners and calculators.
- Able to reach grasp and manipulate items necessary to perform job tasks.
- Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time as required by job responsibilities.
- Proficient in speaking reading and comprehending the English language.
- Able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
Working Conditions
- Able to work in a fast-paced office environment with a high-volume workload including the possibility of working beyond standard hours and on nights/weekends to meet deadlines.
- Able to work indoors in an office environment regardless of whether it is an open office cubicle or private office.
- Able to travel occasionally possibly overnight and to attend meetings and conferences when required.
