Position Title: Legal Administrative Coordinator Hybrid Schedule
Location: Houston TX (Downtown)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 days in office
Compensation: $75000 $105000 annually

Position Overview
The Legal Administrative Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative and client service support to attorneys and practice groups. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced detail-oriented setting and values teamwork and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a reliable in-office resource to promote collaboration and cross-training.
- Coordinate legal practice operations including project management and administrative support.
- Manage billing tasks time and expense entries and matter openings.
- Liaise with internal departments (Finance Client Services Practice Support) to ensure timely task completion.
- Draft revise and file legal documents and correspondence with courts and agencies.
- Maintain client records and materials in the firms document management system.
- Support billing processes including proofreading applying task codes and handling rate adjustments and write-offs.
- Assist attorneys with scheduling presentations and reporting.
- Take on special projects and additional assignments with flexibility and initiative.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of legal administrative or secretarial experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Corporate law experience required; litigation experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Advanced organizational prioritization and delegation skills.
- Strong understanding of legal billing timekeeping and expense processing.
- Familiarity with court procedures and agency filings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Bachelors degree preferred high school diploma or equivalent required.
