Developmental Underfill Opportunity: This position may be filled as a developmental underfill at the Analyst 1 job profile level. See the Minimum Qualifications section for details. The hourly wage for an Analyst 1 is $29.57 - $45.88.
Limited Duration: This is a full-time limited duration position currently funded through June 30 2027. Continuation beyond that date is subject to available funding.
If you are a current OJD regular status employee acceptance of a limited duration status position does not change your status to limited duration (although trial service may still apply). See Judicial Department Personnel Rule 6 for more information or contact your assigned HR Manager.

Benefits to you
We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees OR up to 99% of medical insurance premiums for part-time employees including mental health coverage.
The hourly equivalent for this position is $34.24 - $53.11. OR The annual salary for this position is $71208 - $110472.

The Clackamas County Circuit Court is hiring an Indigent Defense Analyst (Analyst 2).
In this role
You will maintain the Unrepresented Persons and Oregon Public Defense Commission (OPDC) data dashboards verify that statistics for OJD are accurate and ensure that performance measures are met. You will also identify in-custody defendants who do not have representation and schedule their court appearances for attorney status checks.
You will help self-represented litigants by providing instructions for how to complete and submit their paperwork and how to provide additional financial information to help the court verify their applications for court appointed attorneys. The support you provide will be in person over the phone and through email. You will also provide information to internal and external customers related to case and defendant status attorney information denials for court appointed attorneys how to appeal denials and setting hearing dates for appeals. You will spend part of your time attending meetings to exchange information with program partners such as the Clackamas County Jail and the Clackamas Indigent Defense Corporation and to suggest program improvements.
Additionally you will perform data entry run reports scan applications and prepare orders dockets and in-custody and out-of-custody lists. You will develop review and modify verification and court appointed attorney procedures to align with state and local procedures and rules. You will also monitor program and operational data provide updates and recommend changes to business processes.

Have four (4) years of increasingly responsible paraprofessional-level experience that typically supports the knowledge skills and abilities required for the position.
OR
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to four (4) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge skills and abilities for the position.
Minimum Qualifications for an Analyst 2

The qualified candidate must have a bachelors degree in business court administration public administration or a related field.
AND
Two (2) years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience that typically supports the knowledge skills and abilities required for the position.
OR
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to six (6) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge skills and abilities for the position.
Note: Professional-level experience is defined as:
The ability to use independent judgment and discretion in performing work duties.
A level of specialized knowledge in the field of work with some authority for independent decision-making.
In-depth work requirements such as data gathering analysis and interpretation.

Proficiency using a computer and case management system to input data manage data perform research and analysis and present findings to a supervisor or group.
Experience reviewing statewide data reports to identify and correct errors related to data entry and ensure compliance key performance measures.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time position and the work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per work week.
Occasional after-hours or overtime work may be required.
