Shift: 10x4 Days
Pay Rate: $3056 Weekly Gross
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist to join a high-performing radiology team in a leading acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a wide range of advanced MRI procedures with precision professionalism and attention to patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced MRI imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Ensure image quality and diagnostic accuracy while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain MRI scanners and related imaging equipment verifying proper calibration and functionality.
Prepare and position patients for scans explaining procedures and addressing questions to ensure patient understanding and comfort.
Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support high-quality imaging and timely diagnosis.
Follow all safety infection control and MRI safety protocols including screening for contraindications to magnetic fields.
Maintain accurate records documentation and quality assurance logs as required.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the imaging department.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent experience performing advanced MRI procedures in a major acute care hospital setting.
Education
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
Certifications
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
BLS (Basic Life Support) American Heart Association required.
