Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in a 3-month paid intern opportunity at our site in San Diego. Through this role you will gain meaningful hands-on experience in engineering for a HealthTech company.
Your role
Work in a fast-paced R&D environment as part of a cross-functional team that is working todesign and develop Intravascular Ultrasound. Through this role you will gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering for a leading Health Tech company.
- Utilizing your skills in Electrical Engineering you will work closely with Analog Digital and/or Signal Processing Engineers in the Ultrasound Engineering team
- Contribute to test plans and perform testing technical and root cause analysis to verify design performance at sub-system and system level.
- Model and simulate designs for analysis and performance
You are a part of
A global cross-functional technical team responsible for the design development and implementation of Intravascular Ultrasound products. You are a member of the Ultrasound Engineering team.
Youre the right fit if
- Currently enrolled in a program with at least three years of study towards a Bachelors degree inelectrical engineering communications engineering computer engineering or equivalent
- Passionate about continuous learning & adapt to new technologies methods and approaches
- High ability to organize self and are willing to integrate into a team to achieve ambitious goals together
- Fluent in English Communication
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art methods & tools (CAD/simulation) used in electrical design
- Knowledge of Digital Electronics Analog circuits Signal Processing and/or FPGA design
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $28.00 plus overtime actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.

At Philips it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
Additional Information

Company relocation benefitswill notbe provided for this this position you must reside inorwithin commuting distance to San Diego CA.
