Strategic Development Intern – Project Management Focus

We are seeking a driven and resourceful intern to join the Strategic Development function within the Bancassurance team of a leading life insurance company.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management strategic planning and performance management. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a high-impact initiative alongside a senior team member while also contributing to data organization and departmental efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing a key strategic project including coordination of timelines stakeholder engagement and tracking of deliverables.
• Support a senior team member with project documentation meeting preparation and follow-ups.
• Conduct targeted research and basic data analysis to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
• Lead the organisation and cataloguing of departmental data files to improve accessibility and foster idea generation.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute innovative ideas to support strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Project Management Finance Data Science or a related field.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and basic data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI or Python is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
