Job Description
A well-established and leading manufacturing company based in the Scarborough area are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join the this position you will be part of an autonomous and proactive engineering team.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance of site machinery equipment and systems to minimise downtime optimise performance and maximise safety
- Support the maintenance manager and ensure that good 5S standards are maintained in all maintenance activities
- Maintain site facilities and daily completion of the Engineering work log and using CMMS
- Ensure work orders are completed to a high standard within the required time scale
- Carry out PPM work in accordance to the monthly schedule
- Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice
- Work within all Technical Health and Safety and Hygiene procedures at all times
- Participate with ongoing continuous improvement projects

I am really keen to see your CV if you are a time served Maintenance Engineer qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent ONC electrical/mechanical BTEC level 3 in engineering and experience in both Electrical and a Mechanical capacity and qualified to 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Regulations). Has awareness and understanding of key legislative and safety requirements within the engineering field and the ability to work well under pressure and be assertive when making decisions to keep things moving smoothly. Ideally you will like to work at speed and be able to think on your feet and be a creative and diligent Maintenance Engineer.
This role is Monday to Friday days only role with a competitive salary.
