We are seeking a candidate for our established host client who have a footprint in cities throughout Queensland in particular Townsville. Their essential services include commercial and residential requirements and have been in business for close to 40 years and now seeking a trainee to join their team and is focused to complete a3-year Landscaping apprenticeship.

Tasks involve:

• Planting building and renovation of gardens
• Grassed areas - soil preparation laying of turf
• Paving and building retaining walls
• Maintaining properties and structures
• Operating skid tree loaders and other relevant machinery
• Undertaking irrigation construction work drainage systems and maintenance activities

Requirements:

• A genuine interest in working outdoors with your hands!
• Understand the importance of workplace health and safety
• Physically able for labour intensive work
• Construction White Card
• Manual Drivers licence required
• Successful applicants will be required to pass an aptitude test and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn.
