Our R&D division is growing globally and we are looking for an experienced Senior IoT Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team at the new R&D site in Bangalore India.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Lab Assistant to support our Power Electronics R&D team in prototyping and testing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on soldering experience with fine-pitch components (includingBGA and QFN packages) high-voltage electrical wiring and test setup assembly. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of lab activities and supporting engineering teams in product development and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Component Handling & Soldering:

o Perform precise soldering and rework of fine-pitch components such asBGA and QFN packages.

o Use microscopes and reflow equipment for accurate placement and inspection of components.

o Handling and operating power electronics lab equipment.

o Purchase and maintain component inventory and proper storage of sensitive electronic components.

o Rework and fix assembly-related issues on non-working PCBs.

Test Setup Assembly:

o Build and wire custom test setups based on engineering schematics and requirements.

o Route and terminate cables connectors and harnesses for electrical testing.

o Ensure all setups meet safety and quality standards.

Lab Maintenance & Support:

o Organize and maintain lab equipment tools and workstations.

o Calibrate and troubleshoot basic lab instruments (e.g. multimeters oscilloscopes power supplies).

o Assist engineers in executing test procedures and collecting data.

Documentation & Reporting:

o Understand electrical schematic connections.

o Maintain accurate records of test setups wiring diagrams and component usage.

o Support the creation of test reports and logs for engineering review.

Safety & Compliance:

o Follow ESD-safe practices and lab safety protocols.

o Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

ITI or Diploma or bachelors degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering or related field.

Up to 10 years of experience in a power electronics lab support or similar role.

Proficiency in soldering fine-pitch components and reading electrical schematics.

Familiarity with lab instruments and basic troubleshooting techniques.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication behavioral and interpersonal skills.
