Tasks
- Conduct manual sorting and scanning of parcels ensuring accuracy and timely processing to meet operational deadlines.
- Oversee daily activities in the distribution center ensuring efficient and smooth execution of tasks.
- Support on-site logistics operations by assisting in organizing transfer batches and optimizing workflow for operational efficiency.
- Aid in identifying and resolving operational issues such as inventory discrepancies or shipment delays to reduce risks and costs.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues and external contractors to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational standards.
Requirements
- Must have a valid work and residence permit in the Netherlands.
- 0-2 years of experience in operations management preferably in a logistics or distribution center environment. (Candidates with no prior experience but a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply)
- Proficiency in English is essential; familiarity with Chinese and Dutch is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
