Job Summary
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Product Manager Engine Additives & Fuel Additives will be accountable for driving business for Engine Additives and Fuel Additives in the Sub-Saharan Africa region in accordance with product strategy by respective regional product line managers.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Execute business strategies for Engine and Fuel Additives to sustainably deliver strong results in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
- Manage product portfolio life cycle of products price and margin management of the defined product segment to maximize growth and financial performance in the region.
- Ensures alignment with Sales and respective product line manager on strategy and tactics to successfully implement the business plan in pursuit of growth targets.
- Liaise with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure supplies of products are in line with demand.
- Partner with Marketing to identify growth opportunities and market trends and to plan and deliver appropriate market messaging and product positioning to the customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in chemistry/chemical engineering/mechanical engineering or related field
- Masters/Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management would be added advantage.
- Must have minimum 5 years of experience in the lubricant chemical or related industry.
- Experience in customer facing role.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and to participate in global discussions (evening meetings)
- Excellent Communication & Presentation skills.
