Job Summary

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. Experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury establishment is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house areas to 5-star standards.
Ensure all rooms are serviced according to hotel procedures and hygiene standards.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Assist with laundry and linen management as required.
Adhere to health safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
Provide exceptional service with attention to guest comfort and privacy.

Requirements

At least 2 years experience in housekeeping in a high-end hotel environment.
Resides locally in Hout Bay or nearby areas.
Ability to work flexible hours including day and night shifts.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Physically fit to perform cleaning duties and handle housekeeping equipment.
Professional discreet and guest-focused demeanour.

Required Skills:

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces. Follow hotel standards and procedures for cleaning and room preparation.
