Job Summary
Senior Duty Manager Luxury Hotel Group Eastern Cape
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and dynamic Senior Duty Manager to join a luxury hotel group in the Eastern Cape. This role is ideal for a guest-focused individual with bush experience leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a high-end hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day hotel operations during assigned shifts ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Supervise and support staff across all operational areas including Front Office and Food & Beverage.
Ensure guest satisfaction by proactively addressing enquiries requests and complaints.
Maintain operational standards health safety and hygiene protocols throughout the property.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff fostering teamwork and engagement.
Actively contribute to the smooth running of the lodge including assisting with bush operations where applicable.
Support revenue-generating activities and ensure compliance with property procedures and policies.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury hotel or lodge environment.
Some Food & Beverage experience advantageous.
Guest-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence.
Bush experience and understanding of lodge operations are highly desirable.
Mature reliable and able to lead by example.
Willingness to live on-site and work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
Salary: R16000 R18000 per month negotiable depending on experience.
