Basic Job Responsibilities - Perform complete vehicle maintenance and inspections: including tires brakes and checking all fluid levels. Have the ability to work on all makes and models with an emphasis on European vehicles. Were looking for someone that has experience working with diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Main Job Tasks:
- Able to handle brake changes tire changes and general maintenance
- Able to maneuver vehicles carefully in crowded spaces moving and parking vehicles for maximum lot efficiency
- Monitors each vehicles gas fluid levels tire pressure battery life; check the condition of the vehicles suspension
- Able to occasionally engage with customers; must be friendly informative and professional
Physical Demands / Requirements:
Physical activities are required such as but not limited to kneeling reaching stooping climbing ladders frequent walking standing lifting (up to approximately 50-75 pounds). The team member is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions noises and hazards. The environment also exposes the employee to potentially hazardous substances.
Education and Experience:
- ASE certifications or equivalent
- Previous shop experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Key Competencies:
- Able to operate vehicles with manual transmissions
- Able to safely operate company and client vehicles
- Must have a valid drivers license with insurable driving record
- Must be familiar with basic email and computer skills phone cordless drill/screwdriver battery charger
- Must be able to meet the physical demands essential for the position
- Must be willing to take direction
- Should be mature and highly motivated
- Must be able to maintain effective personal relationships with supervisors staff members and customers
- Ability to adapt to change as we are a growing company
