POSITION: Child Nutrition Supervisor
SALARY: District Salary Schedule (GRADE: 61 - $2908.96 monthly Starting Salary)

WORK LOCATIONS: Child Nutrition Department
GENERAL DUTIES:
To prepare palatable and nutritious meals to all students in a cost-effective manner and to incorporateconcepts of good nutrition as a part of the total educational program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor of Science Degree and/or five years of management experience in food service or related areas.
-Ability to assist in the implementation of the requirements of the Child Nutrition Program.
-Evidence of ability and skills to provide good nutrition as a part of the total education program.
-Ability to help plan menus and assists in nutrition analysis of menus.
-Ability to monitor facilities working conditions and recommending methods for increased efficiency.
-Ability to plan and conduct staff meetings and workshops for food service personnel and advise managers in preparing requisitions.
-Ability to help coordinate warehouse and vendor deliveries storing foods controlling inventories and keeping up-to-date inventory of USDA commodities.
-Ability to assist in evaluating cafeteria managers and evaluation of school cafeterias.
-Evidence of ability and skills to provide good nutrition as a part of the total education program.
