Job Summary
Overview
Maintenance Technician will perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance as well as emergency repairs on production equipment and building systems.
Hourly range $23.00-$27.00
Qualifications
- Minimum of four years experience in manufacturing / industrial / building maintenance
- Experience with basic electrical and pneumatic control circuits
- Able to operate powered vehicle equipment including forklifts platform lifts and Boom Lifts
- Familiarity with basic construction trades (framing plumbing electrical wiring sheet rocking painting etc.)
- Awareness of environmental rules and regulations helpful
Physical Demand Requirements:
- Standing walking and moderate lifting (up to50 lbs)
- Must be tolerant of working at heights (up to 30 ft.)
- Clean drivers license
Responsibilities
- Complete Maintenance Work Requests as well as Preventative Maintenance assignments that require electrical mechanical plumbing and carpentry skills.
- Solve mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment
- Assist with new equipment installs and startup
- Respond to production emergencies on both first and second shifts
- Demonstrate and help enforce safe work practices
- Be available to work overtime when required
