Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect via phone email LinkedIn and other channels to create new opportunities.
  • Make high daily outreach (calls emails LinkedIn) targeting 75 touches/day.
  • Research accounts and contacts to identify potential needs.
  • Build trust with prospects and qualify them as sales opportunities.
  • Set meetings between prospects and Account Executives.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to support pipeline growth.
  • Report weekly monthly and quarterly activity and results to the VP of Sales.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HubSpot LinkedIn Sales Navigator or ZoomInfo a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
  • 1 year of sales or customer-facing experience preferred (retail recruiting inside sales call center or related).
  • Willingness to learn the IT/cybersecurity industry prior MSP/MSSP experience a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated success with cold calling or high-volume outreach strongly preferred.

Work Schedule/Travel:

  • Standard Meriplex business hours of Monday Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Travel optional.

Physical Demands:

Medium Work - Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
