Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Hours: Saturday - Monday 5am-5pm (OT on Wednesdays as needed)
Responsibilities
Investigate troubleshoot and execute Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
Analyze current maintenance operations to identify and drive opportunities for schedule and organizational optimization.
Propose and contribute to the planning and execution of equipment upgrades and automation enhancements aimed at improving overall production efficiency.
Continuously evaluate and enhance existing Preventive Maintenance (PM) processes to improve their effectiveness and efficiency.
Lead and support development activities for team members acting as a mentor to foster skill growth and knowledge transfer.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance technicians and support staff as required.
Actively participate and collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve shared operational goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Other Responsibilities:
Position may require some travel on very short notice. Position may also require supporting off-shift production at the Customer Locations and possibly working extended hours.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Experience:
-35 years of hands-on experience in maintenance or technical support (preferred).
-Experience with mechanical assembly equipment (MAE) is a plus.
-Basic experience in using maintenance planning tools or systems (e.g. SAP PM OPRA) preferred.
-Basic experience in using Controls tools or systems (e.g. Step 7 TIA Portal Simotion) preferred.
Essential Skills:
-Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Able to read and follow technical instructions and maintenance plans.
-Basic computer skills for entering data and creating orders.
-Clear and respectful communication with team members and other departments.
-Reliable organized and able to work independently within given instructions.
-Willing to learn and follow safety and maintenance procedures.
