Job Overview:
Were looking for a meticulous and proactive Contract Administrator & Estimator to support residential construction projects across this role youll handle everything from preparing tender packages and coordinating with trades to managing contracts and estimating project costs. If you have a sharp eye for detail a knack for numbers and love keeping projects on track this is your perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for various trades and suppliers

  • Coordinate trade contractors and subcontractors throughout all project stages

  • Set up and lead site meetings with trades and key stakeholders

  • Develop tender packages and manage the tendering process

  • Perform quantity take-offs cost estimations and prepare budgets for residential builds

  • Maintain project documentation contracts and correspondence

  • Ensure projects comply with Australian construction standards and regulations

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

  • Communicate effectively with trades and partners via phone and email



Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Proven experience in contract administration and estimating within the residential construction sector

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes documentation and cost control

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software/tools

  • Familiarity with Australian tendering processes and building codes
