Job Overview:
Were looking for a meticulous and proactive Contract Administrator & Estimator to support residential construction projects across this role youll handle everything from preparing tender packages and coordinating with trades to managing contracts and estimating project costs. If you have a sharp eye for detail a knack for numbers and love keeping projects on track this is your perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for various trades and suppliers
Coordinate trade contractors and subcontractors throughout all project stages
Set up and lead site meetings with trades and key stakeholders
Develop tender packages and manage the tendering process
Perform quantity take-offs cost estimations and prepare budgets for residential builds
Maintain project documentation contracts and correspondence
Ensure projects comply with Australian construction standards and regulations
Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Communicate effectively with trades and partners via phone and email
Requirements
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Quantity Surveying or a related field
Proven experience in contract administration and estimating within the residential construction sector
Strong knowledge of construction processes documentation and cost control
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software/tools
Familiarity with Australian tendering processes and building codes
