DescriptionThe claims executive will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex claims and providing guidance and support to the junior claims team in processing claims. This individual will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including policyholders brokers and attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex claims and ensure timely and accurate processing
- Provide guidance and support to the claims team in processing claims
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including policyholders brokers and attorneys
- Investigate and evaluate claims to determine coverage and liability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to claims processing
- Participate in developing and implementing project strategies and initiatives
- Maintain accurate claims records and prepare reports as needed
QualificationsQualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business finance or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in claims management in the life insurance industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relevant laws regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software
