Job Summary
1 Month Contract With A Local Authority
We are looking for enthusiastic outgoing and festive individuals to join our team as Santas Grotto Assistants (Animators) to help deliver a magical Christmas experience for families and children in the heart of South Wales. As one of Santas key helpers youll bring festive joy to life by guiding guests through various themed areas including Santas Toy Shop Photo Station and Enchanted Tours.
This is a perfect opportunity for performers entertainers or customer service superstars who love Christmas working with children and creating unforgettable moments.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome families and children to the Santa experience with warmth enthusiasm and a smile
Take guests on interactive tours keeping the energy high and the magic alive
Assist Santa in his Toy Shop helping children choose their gifts and ensuring a safe fun environment
Work at the Photo Station helping capture magical moments and guiding families through the photo process
Stay in character throughout the event and maintain a professional engaging presence
Provide excellent customer service ensuring all visitors have a positive and memorable experience
Maintain a clean organised and safe event space following health and safety procedures
Report any incidents or issues to the Event Supervisor promptly
Adapt to different roles as required by the event schedule
Requirements
Outgoing friendly and confident personality
Ability to engage and entertain children and families of all ages
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Team player with a positive attitude
Comfortable wearing festive costumes and working on your feet for extended periods
