Caterpillars Remanufacturing Division is looking for an Environmental Associate for our facility located in Corinth MS. This position will participate in the design implementation and maintenance of Environmental programs and associated policies and regulations.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform inspections and tests planned to monitor specific Environmental issues regulations and company practices.
  • Assists in training employees on Environmental guidelines company policies and procedures and regulations pertaining to EHS.
  • Making and maintaining necessary Environmental records according to established guidelines.
  • Contributes to the development of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate incident learnings and tracks completion of items to build resilient systems



What You Will Have:

Environmental Policy Compliance: Knowledge of Environmental policies; ability to implement Environmental policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.

Level Working Knowledge:

  • Understands common regulations and requirements governing air water and solid waste
  • Prepares for emergency situations according to EHS policy.
  • Replaces hazardous materials with environmentally friendly ones where appropriate.
  • Conducts risk assessments to identify hazards in the business work areas and work processes.
  • Completes incident report forms after detecting risks or hazards in the workplace.
  • Analyzes improvements across the campus to understand and plan for environmental impacts

Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand monitor update control or enhance existing business or work processes.

Level Working Knowledge:

  • Employs process flows cycle time process time and waste concepts as appropriate.
  • Walks through steps decisions measurements dependencies and hand-offs for a specific process.
  • Creates process flow or workflow diagrams.
  • Documents types of process decisions and potential impact of each decision.
  • Identifies and monitors common process bottlenecks.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Level Extensive Experience:

  • Evaluates and makes contributions to best practices.
  • Processes large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy.
  • Productively balances speed and accuracy.
  • Employs techniques for motivating personnel to meet or exceed accuracy goals.

Summary Pay Range:

$79800.00 - $119760.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
