Job Summary

Licensed School Social Worker (Contract) Communication Development Program

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate ranging from$45 to $55 per hour depending on experience and credentials.

ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a dedicated and licensedSchool Social Workerto support a specializedCommunication Development (CD) Programserving students with unique communication and social-emotional needs.

This position is acontract roleserving approximatelythree classrooms (less than 30 students total)acrosstwo school sites. The ideal candidate is experienced compassionate and skilled in supporting students through collaboration intervention and case management within a team-based educational environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct social work services to students within the Communication Development Program
Collaborate with teachers speech-language pathologists and support staff to address students communication and behavioral goals
Conduct assessments and develop social-emotional goals aligned with IEPs
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation and case notes
Support family engagement and connect students to community resources
Travel between two school locations as needed

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement (required)
Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Experience working with students in special education or communication-focused programs preferred
Strong collaboration communication and documentation skills
Ability to manage a small caseload effectively across multiple sites

Contract position
Caseload: approximately 30 students across three classrooms
Location: Southwest Cook County area
Schedule: On-site MondayFriday (standard school hours)
