Job Summary

Shift Type: Day Shift
Schedule: 5 days per week
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM
Hours per Day: 7.5
Total Hours per Week: 37.5
Position Overview
A school-based organization is seeking a School Social Worker to support students families and staff by providing comprehensive social-emotional and behavioral services. The role focuses on fostering student success through intervention advocacy and collaboration within an educational setting.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling to students
Assess social emotional and behavioral needs of students
Develop and implement intervention and support plans
Collaborate with teachers administrators and support staff
Communicate with families and caregivers regarding student progress
Connect students and families with community resources
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and school initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
