Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration/public administration urban planning or political science; 12 months training or 12 months experience in planning developing and/or implementing housing and/or homeless grant programs or real estate sales and must be able to provide own transportation.

Housing Grant Analyst 2

The Office of Housing Support within the Ohio Department of Development is presently hiring for a Housing Grant Analyst 2 to contribute to a team of dedicated individuals who share a passion for supporting Ohio communities in their mission to increase affordable housing.

What youll be doing:

• Review and monitor housing grant and loan projects for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conduct on-site visits to evaluate administrative financial and program performance.
• Provide technical assistance to grantees in application preparation program implementation and record keeping.
• Review and analyze grant and loan applications reports and drawdown requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist grantees and applicants in structuring eligible projects and identifying funding opportunities.
• Deliver training and guidance to grantees local officials and partner organizations on program requirements and compliance.
• Prepare reports correspondence and informational materials related to housing and community services programs.
• Maintain accurate program records and enter data into grant management systems.
• Provide professional customer-focused service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel as required may include overnight stays.
