We are seeking a paralegal to support lawyers of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting lawyers and teams in preparing and reviewing documents related to land acquisition sales leases and transfers.
- Coordinating with government agencies (e.g. Land Department local authorities) for registration title deed verification and other official processes.
- Conducting due diligence on land and property including title searches encumbrance checks and compliance with zoning and planning regulations.
- Preparing and submitting applications for permits licenses and approvals related to land and real estate projects.
- Maintaining and updating records of all land and real estate transactions contracts and supporting documentation.
- Liaising with clients external counsel surveyors and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely completion of all filings and registrations.
- Supporting the team in resolving issues related to land disputes boundary demarcations and compliance matters.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in law or a related field.
- Thai nationality.
- Experience working with government agencies (e.g. Land Department local authorities) for registrations title deed verifications and other official processes is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of deadline-driven work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Willingness and ability to work outside Bangkok and stay overnight for land inspections as required.
- Eagerness to learn and utilize new research materials and practice tools.
- Proficiency in drafting documents in English is an advantage.
