Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Officer to support our firm.

Role Overview:

The Human Resources Officer (hereinafter referred to as HR Officer) plays a critical role in supporting the organizations human resources operations. This position serves as a key liaison between employees and management ensuring compliance with labour laws maintaining accurate employee records and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Officer is responsible for delivering efficient HR services including recruitment onboarding employee relations and benefits administration while contributing to organizational development and employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Responsible for recruiting new employees (preparing job descriptions screening resumes scheduling interviews and conducting interviews).
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding activities ensuring smooth transitions for both new hires and departing employees (includes conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover trends).
  • Monitoring and managing employee probation periods and contract renewals.
  • Coordinating with the head office in Tokyo regarding internal HR arrangements.
  • Supporting payroll processing by coordinating with payroll vendors and the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Supporting visa/work permit processes for expats.
  • Handling all employee-related services including preparing employment contracts promotion/increment/bonus letters and other staff documentation.
  • Assisting in performance appraisal processes.
  • Acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries and conflict resolution to ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for employee benefits and welfare (e.g. social security annual health check-ups group insurance provident fund).
  • Preparing HR-related reports and analytics for management review (time attendance overtime leave records etc.).
  • Supporting internal communications including company events (e.g. New Year party outings and other internal events) and dissemination of HR-related information.
  • Participating in employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Support training and development activities including organizing internal/external training sessions and maintaining training records.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Thai: Native level
  • Good Microsoft Office/Excel skills
  • Able to work well in a team hardworking quick learner detail-oriented and proactive
  • Minimum 23 years of HR experience preferably in a multinational environment
  • Experience with payroll benefits administration and employee relations is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English
  • Able to work under pressure
