Job Summary
As a Senior SDET Data (18057) you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects mentoring junior engineers and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and implement automated tests and validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy integrity and performance across pipelines and data platforms.
- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to identify reproduce and resolve data-related defects or quality issues.
- Develop and maintain testing tools scripts and processes to support continuous integration deployment and data quality monitoring.
Qualifications and Skills
- Professional/ Advanced English skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Ruby on Rails for building scalable automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and data validation including writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance
- Hands-on experience with React ElasticSearch Redis and Sidekiq in test automation and performance validation
- Familiarity with TypeScript and modern front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright is a plus
- Proven ability to design implement and maintain end-to-end test automation across APIs UIs and data pipelines
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Strong analytical and debugging skills for identifying data inconsistencies and system bottlenecks
- Solid understanding of QA principles SDLC and agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates strong ownership attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high code quality
