Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Manager to join the team in one of the following locations: Chicago IL; Dallas TX; Fort Worth TX; Hazelwood MO.
This position requires 50% domestic travel
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and mid-level managers performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers production and quality systems special processes products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations.
- Cohesive partnering / integration with the supply base key program business partners and first line leaders.
- Focus on continuous improvement the ability to recognize and implement opportunities to bring preventative best practices to the supply base development of data driven initiatives aimed at reductions of quality related disruptions and fostering a culture that embraces the Boeing Behaviors are key tenants of the position.
- Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance. Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
- Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.
- Demonstrates a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for ones actions. Exhibits a moral legal or mental accountability in areas of responsibility.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- 5 years ofexperience leading Quality Management Systems
- 5 years of experience leading and/or managing a team
- 5 years of experience in Supply Chain

Travel:
This position may require travel up to 50% of the time.
