Job Summary

ROLE SUMMARY

The Commercial AI Risk Management Lead is responsible for accelerating the deployment of AI initiatives while ensuring all forms of risk are mitigated. This role will work closely with Legal Compliance Privacy Regulatory Safety Procurement to ensure AI capabilities built in Pfizer or through 3rd parties adhere to any external regulatory requirements as well as Pfizer specific policy.

The Commercial AI Risk Management Role is a proactive transformational dynamic and results driven role accountable to lead the risk management in accelerated AI deployment across the AIA team.

More broadly this role will be responsible for communicating relevant insights to leaders and senior global stakeholders (Legal Compliance Regulatory Privacy & Safety) on the state of control of AIA deployed capabilities.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships across senior commercial stakeholders and business partners (Legal Compliance Privacy Regulatory Safety Procurement) in service of understanding risk and developing risk mitigation plans
  • Accelerate the deployment of AI capabilities while ensuring adherence to external/internal standards via a risk-based approach
  • Responsible for educating the AIA organization of standards that need to be adhered to in the development of AI capabilities requiring the need to understand Pfizers AI Legal/Compliance guidance and the exiting AI RAMP processes
  • Provide as needed updates in governance forums (e.g. AI commercial council USQRC)
  • Monitor adherence to standards across the capabilities that are produced
  • Understand Commercial needs enabled by AI and develop guidance and processes that ensure adherence to policies/risk mitigation plan including understanding of needed resources for ongoing monitoring
  • Lead resolution of escalated policy and procedure queries
  • Establish outcome based Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) monitor performance and state of control across the AIA org
  • Define applicable training requirements and provide content to ensure compliance
  • Drive strategy for vendor excellence to ensure IP obligations are adhered to and vendor engagements include Pfizers AI policy & standards (including pitchesproposals progress updates metrics & deliverables).
  • Develop standardized moniring plans for key AI initiatiaves in partnership with Compliance Monitoring and Biopharma Quality
  • Primary point of contact for US audits
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree
  • A minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Understand the fundamentals of the pharmaceutical industry regulatory requirements and risk management
  • Proven ability to influence without authority a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in process design
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in senior stakeholder engagement alignment and facilitating conflict
  • Demonstrated strategic thought leadership & ability to drive transformation and lead change

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive experience in process design in service of enabling commercial priorities while managing risk
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze information draw insights and recommend improvements

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156600.00 to $261000.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
