ISS is hiring! ISS is seeking a Corporate Governance Research Analyst to join our Latin American Research team to complete basic and advanced analytical governance research of companies assigned to the Latin American market during the spring annual meeting season starting in January 2026 for a term ending in early May 2026 (there could be some fluctuationin start and end dates).

TheCorporate Governance Research Analystperforms governance research and complete proxy analyses for shareholder meetings of publicly-traded companies (focused on Latin American countries such as Argentina Chile Colombia Mexico and Peru). There is a requirement for fluency in Spanish in addition to fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Read and understand companys filings with countries regulators as well as SEC filings (20-Fs 6-ks) and other documents disclosed by publicly-traded companies (e.g. corporate governance reports) to distill financial industry and corporate governance information to draft analyses and issue proxy vote recommendations based on ISS policy guidelines (available at and ensure that the accurate companys data information has been collectedincluding but not limited to companys financials directors profiles remuneration data and auditors fees to be used in proxy analysis reports.
Write timely and accurate reports in accordance with ISS procedures and policy guidelines for the respective markets.

Qualifications

Strong analytical abilities and some knowledge of corporate governance issues.
Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
Organizational skills attention to detail familiarity with data information a self-driven work ethic and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure deadline-driven environment.
Willingness to work long hours and weekends during peak weeks (March & April).
Ability to work within a team-oriented environment and communicate with various internal parties
Familiarity with Latin America countries regulators and stock exchanges as well as SEC filings.
Bachelors degree or higher plus relevant work experience preferred in governance accounting law or other corporate fields.
Fluency in Spanish is required in addition to fluency in English.

Additional Information

Work Schedule: This role follows a 5-days a week in office schedule.
Peak Season: During peak season (late March to mid-April) overtime may be requested which can include evenings or weekends.
Payroll and Benefits: The payroll provider for this position is through a third party so ISS STOXX benefits are not applicable. Benefits may be available through the third-party provider after an eligibility period; please inquire for more details.

Rockville MD: Located in the vibrant King Farm community convenient access to transit (1 mile from Shady Grove Red Line) dining green spaces with free parking and access to an onsite gym.
Washington DC: A modern open-floor workspace on Rhode Island Avenue in Northwest DC with an onsite gym and convenient metro access.

Compensation: The pay range for this position in Rockville MD and Washington DC is $26.00 - $27.50 per hour. Exact compensation will vary based on skills experience and education.

Employment Type: Full-time 40 hours per week with overtime eligibility (subject to manager approval).
