Due to internal growth and team members moving to new roles we have an OSHC Service Manager role available in the Hobart.

The Role:

As an OSHC Service Manager youll be responsible for the operational management of three of our Hobart based OSHC services in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and play a pivotal role in shaping environments where children are safe and can thrive educators are empowered and families are supported. You will work directly with three OSHC services to continue to provide high quality and engaging programs for children aged 4 to 12 years. The programs consist of Before School Care After School Care and Vacation Care.

Hours: 72 hours per fortnightly (9 day working arrangement)

Location: Based at Glenora overseeing Taroona Lansdowne and Goulburn Street Outside school hours care service

In this role you will

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality safe and inclusive education and care programs
  • Oversee all aspects of service operations including family engagement people management and compliance
  • Mentor and develop your team to deliver best-practice pedagogy and exceed quality standards
  • Build strong trusting relationships with children families and educators
  • Carry out Nominated Supervisor responsibilities ensuring the service meets the National Quality Standard and legislative requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement and prepare services for Assessment and Rating success

What youll bring:

We are looking for motivated professionals with:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).
  • Strong knowledge of the NQF and preferably also knowledge of the My Time Our Place Framework.
  • Experience supporting or leading a team with a collaborative and reflective approach.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for inclusion safety and child-centered practice.

Essential requirements include Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child related activity) a current drivers licence plus the ability to obtain a National Police Check.
