Job Description
Lead production where precision meets innovation. At Teledyne RF & Microwave we deliver advanced technologies that power aerospace defense and communications worldwide. As a Production Supervisor youll play a critical role in driving efficiency quality and continuous improvement on the shop floor. What youll do
- Plan and execute production activities to meet daily weekly and monthly goals
- Prioritize schedules based on delivery commitments equipment and material availability
- Supervise and develop team members including hiring training and performance reviews
- Monitor production lines and implement efficiency improvements
- Prepare and analyze production reports and metrics
- Coordinate cross-training and ensure smooth shift handovers
- Maintain compliance with ISO/AS9100 standards and company policies
- Lead 6S initiatives and support Lean/Kaizen activities
- Resolve production issues and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements
What you need
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills (required)
- Ability to manage schedules resources and team performance (required)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 6S principles (required)
- Familiarity with ISO and/or AS9100 standards (required)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance (required)
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field; Bachelors preferred (required)
- 25 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing (required)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production software (advantage)
