We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Major Incident Support Team Member to join our dynamic team in Invercargill New this critical role you will play a vital part in ensuring our organization delivers a world-class response during major incidents large events and periods of high workload or crisis.
- Provide non-clinical support to the Ambulance Operations and Event Health Services teams at planned and unplanned events major incidents and natural disasters
- Assist with administration communications welfare and logistics tasks as required
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while working under pressure
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals
- Demonstrate a customer-focused approach and provide exceptional support to ensure seamless operations
- Remain flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing situations and evolving priorities
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying and suggesting process enhancements
Qualifications :
- A current clean full New Zealand Drivers License with the ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles confidently
- A valid First Aid certificate
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility resilience and the ability to maintain performance under pressure
- Physical fitness to perform the required duties
- Minimum age of AGE years
- New Zealand citizenship or permanent resident status
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software/applications
- Willingness to work shifts including nights weekends and holidays
