Major Incident Support Team Member

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Major Incident Support Team Member to join our dynamic team in Invercargill New this critical role you will play a vital part in ensuring our organization delivers a world-class response during major incidents large events and periods of high workload or crisis.

• Provide non-clinical support to the Ambulance Operations and Event Health Services teams at planned and unplanned events major incidents and natural disasters
• Assist with administration communications welfare and logistics tasks as required
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while working under pressure
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals
• Demonstrate a customer-focused approach and provide exceptional support to ensure seamless operations
• Remain flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing situations and evolving priorities
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying and suggesting process enhancements

Qualifications :

• A current clean full New Zealand Drivers License with the ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles confidently
• A valid First Aid certificate
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility resilience and the ability to maintain performance under pressure
• Physical fitness to perform the required duties
• Minimum age of AGE years
• New Zealand citizenship or permanent resident status
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in using computers and relevant software/applications
• Willingness to work shifts including nights weekends and holidays
