The opportunity:
As a Senior Case Manager at AIA youll lead the way in assessing and managing claims with precision and care. Youll take ownership of complex cases applying innovative thinking and empathy to deliver tailored outcome-focused solutions. Working closely with clients youll design and implement strategic case management plans that support recovery and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing overflow claims and the successful co-ordination of our customers return to work.
Focusing on delivering exceptional customer experience in line with the philosophy of looking to pay all legitimate claims.
Managing the assessment of a complex high-value claims portfolio.
Liaising with appropriate medical providers financial providers and external parties (e.g. ACC or insurance companies) to obtain relevant claim information.
Undertaking regular client visits around New Zealandto build and maintain strong relationships with our customers.
Ensuring our customers receive clear and concise information to assist them through the claims process in a timely manner.
Confidence talking to specialists and providers to plan our customers rehabilitation.
Undertaking a multidisciplinary holistic approach to case management.
Ideally youll bring:
5 years claims experience.
Insurance financial services or health industry experience (preferred).
Clean full NZ Driver License.
Proficiency with IT applications.
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
