.Net Architect (Developer)

Responsibilities:

• Design build and maintain scalable high-performance applications and services using the latest versions of C# Core.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) . You will also be responsible for creating reusable Terraform 2. templates to wrap and deploy C# services.
• Build solutions leveraging a range of AWS services including AWS Lambda MSK Connect Apache Flink Amazon Neptune and Amazon Athena.
• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle from initial design and development through to testing and deployment.
• Quickly dive into and understand the existing application and codebase making impactful contributions from day one.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to our platforms architecture development processes and overall performance with a customer centric mindset.

Qualifications :

What you will need to succeed:

• Expertise in C# .NET Core &
• Strong experience for developing web applications.
• Demonstrable experience of infrastructure templating with CloudFormation and/or Terraform
• Experience with implementing OOP principles and design patterns with C#.
• Experience in designing developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. GitHub Actions TeamCity.)
• Strong working knowledge of at least one database technology; Aurora RDS Postgres SQL Server Documentdb.
• Practical experience building solutions with services like AWS Lambda MSK Connect Apache Flink Amazone Neptune and Amazon Athena.
• Be self-starter and independent contributor who can take high-level requirements architect a solution and execute on it with minimal supervision.
• The ability to to rapidly assimilate complex technical information understand unfamiliar codebases and become productive in a short timeframe.
• Have a history of successfully delivering complex software projects from the development phase all the way to a production environment.
• Ability to learn quickly new AWS services and how they fit in the existing architecture.

Good to Have Skills:

• A solid understanding of core networking principles and protocols.
• Exposure to AWS data and streaming services such as Amazon Athena AWS Glue Amazon Kinesis Amazon EMR Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose or zero-ETL solutions.
• Proficiency in additional scripting languages like PowerShell Shell scripting (Bash) Ansible or Kotlin.
• Experience and familiarity working within both Windows and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with modern monitoring and observability tools like Grafana Prometheus or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of database schema migration and version control tools such as Liquibase or Flyway.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
