Senior VFX Artist

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an experienced Senior VFX Artist to join our team working on The Witcher 4 the first game in a brand-new saga. Were looking for someone who combines artistic vision with deep technical expertise and who thrives on collaboration creativity and pushing the boundaries of real-time visuals in games. Daily Responsibilities

• Create high-quality real-time visual effects for gameplay environments and cinematics.
• Collaborate with artists designers and engineers to shape stunning and performant VFX.
• Contribute to creative and technical solutions that enhance the games storytelling and immersion.
• Explore new tools workflows and techniques to help evolve the future of real-time VFX.
• Ensure VFX assets meet both artistic standards and technical constraints.
• Work with leads and producers to estimate and plan work that aligns with project goals and schedules.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in game development particularly with Unreal Engine.
• Strong artistic sensibility with a sharp eye for detail composition and motion.
• Advanced skills with VFX tools and pipelines including Niagara.
• Ability to create complex materials in Unreal Engine.
• Solid understanding of real-time rendering lighting shaders and PBR.
• Expertise in real-time simulations and optimization.
• A proactive mindset self-motivation and openness to feedback.
• Experience owning and delivering impactful self-directed work.
• Clear and empathetic communication skills.
• A portfolio that showcases your excellence in VFX for games.
• Proficient in written and spoken English

Nice to Have

• Experience in procedural content creation in Houdini.
• Experience with Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine.

Working mode

• In-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw Poland.
