Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookings and coordinate all operational aspects with shipping lines and other logistic providers to ensure timely delivery
- Review and prepare comprehensive sets of shipping documentation for air ocean and truck import/export shipments
- Handle and coordinate the logistics team in daily operations for seamless execution
- Validate vendor monthly billing and arrange payment processes strictly adhering to company policies
- Conduct expense and cost trend analysis to determine financial efficiencies
- Evaluate important metrics for performance to ensure world-class logistics operations
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in import and export logistics
- Preferred experience in China import & export logistics
- Proven experience in freight forwarding and management of freight forwarders
- Advanced knowledge of MS Access/Excel VBA
- ERP experience including SAP and Oracle with more than 2 years in data analysis-related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proven track record of successfully implementing logistics strategies in a competitive environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ambitious workplace
