This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain real-world marketing experience in the healthcare and wellbeing sector working closely with our Founder/CEO and the national leadership team.

Role Overview

The Social Media & Marketing Intern will work closely with the Founder/CEO to build and manage their professional online presence particularly on LinkedIn tiktok Instagram and Facebook. This includes developing a consistent content calendar producing engaging posts and helping shape the Founders voice as a thought leader in healthcare business and innovation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring marketer or communications student to gain real-world experience in personal branding digital storytelling and leadership marketing within a fast-growing purpose-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a content plan focused on building the Founder/CEOs personal brand with a target of three posts per week across key platforms.
  • Draft engaging posts articles and short-form content that reflect the Founders leadership vision and day-to-day work.
  • Capture and edit visual content (photos and short videos) during meetings travel and events.
  • Coordinate scheduling and posting through LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Founder/CEO to generate story ideas campaign hooks and post topics.
  • Monitor post engagement and analytics providing simple weekly insights or recommendations.
  • Ensure brand tone and messaging align with Fly2 Healths values and communications style.
  • Support broader marketing and employer branding initiatives where needed.

What Were Looking For

  • Studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing Communications Media or similar.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a sharp sense for brand tone.
  • Interest in digital marketing leadership branding and social media strategy.
  • Confident using Canva or other content creation tools.
  • Reliable self-motivated and proactive with an eye for detail and a creative flair.
  • Available half a day per week based in Melbourne (occasional interstate travel opportunities with the Founder/CEO).
